I had gotten this idea on a visit to
An interesting way to explore some or the wonderful artistic and literary minds here - and the same time expose others.

The first 10 deviants who post in this journal will be featured here. I will go though your gallery and choose the three deviations that I think are your best, or at least like the most. The only catch is that you, in turn, must make a journal like this where you feature ten commenter's deviations and so on.

Unlike HolderOfTheClouds I plan on commenting a bit WHY I like a particular piece. (Although you may not care)

Kinda what is all about..."Sharing the wealth" so to speak.

I never expected starting this little journey, this little quest, would be so hard. There are truly some amazing people here at . I wish I could meet those I've had the pleasure to have chatted with so far.

Another purveyor of Sketch, Photo, Poetry, and Prose! Wandering thru her gallery, I have a hard time deciding on "The Three". Not a prolific gallery, but some well chosen pieces make it interesting.

Aquatic Blue
A sketch, featuring seemingly Stain-glass artistry that CrimsonNightWind did in GIMP of all things (I can't get the hang of GIMP) A beautifully done mermaid in textural blues is quite eye-catching. I truly enjoy this piece.

I could feature "Shades of Soul" a wonderfully written work with matching manipulation, or "Shoes and Skirts" a manipulation featuring some lovely de-saturated legs - artistically done. Or perhaps be captured by the artist's eye in a self-portrait. But I want the next two featured works to show her writing style.

I had no idea whole books were here on DevArt! And CrimsonNightWind has the first installment of nine up for you to read. Not just read, but be intrigued, and capture by the mystery of the story. Did Jennifer Kill Morgan, or is there more than just the obvious?

Another young artist that I have no clue how to select only 3 of her works. Photography..some so interesting..and using the old darkroom methods....giving already interesting compositions....just something more.
And Prose! 3 full pages of prose!
In the end...I need to select...

Let's Each Ask
It's so hard to describe the feelings this prose brings forth. Eerie, but calming, but a sense of comfort and being..the moon obeys it's mother...

Old Barn
I love that troubleinharlem not only took the photo, but developed it "old style" as well. That the picture is a scan of the original, actually adds to it's raw, rough charm. A black and white, I enjoy the perspective, peering thru the brambles, and it almost seems an old truck is peering back from the dark inards of the barn. With the clarity of digital, we forget about the charm of photos done in a darkroom. There are quite a few shots she has completed and collected in this same "vintage" manner..all enjoyable. Thanks to troubleinharlem for bringing this perspective here for us.
